Start with how you actually drive
Most car searches start with a model name. It's usually better to start with the drive: your daily commute, how many people ride with you regularly, whether you tow or haul, and what a comfortable monthly number looks like for you.
Once we've got that, narrowing the list is quick. A DFW commuter putting on 25,000 miles a year has different priorities than a family shopping for a third-row SUV, and both are different from a first car for a new driver.
